    The Workshop Opens its doors for business -A new production unit for small orders and sampling..

     

    The Workshop is a new production support concept to help fashion today. Based in  a 1800 square foot unit at Unit 5 Mavros House 95 Vale Road, London, Fashion Enter will be supplying industry expert advice to retailers, production units and designers for

     

    sewing machine

    First Fit patterns

    Fitting grades for pre sealing

    Sealing samples

    Photographic samples

    Blocks

    Grading

    In work check advice and support

    In house small production runs

    Facility to source other accredited larger CMT units for larger scale production runs.

    In addition auxiliary services will be available on sourcing of fabric and trims.

     

    There are dedicated offices at The Workshop complete with computers whereby designers and retailers can book sessions on any aspect of pattern, sampling and production with in house experts plus there is a factory unit complete with a full range of machinery for small run production.

     

    The first meeting is taking place on Friday 10th October with asos.com and their design team thereafter the unit will be open for business but will officially launch 30th October. Such is the demand for the services of The Workshop that we are opening the doors early for business.     In time The Workshop  will also offer training and development facilities for factories to up skill their own workforce as well as offering beginners courses in garment construction and machining.  Additional machinery is also being discussed such as a Digitiser and CAD CAM.
