Cotton imports reach 158,200 tons in february 2008

China's cotton imports remained strong in February 2008, reaching 158,200 tons, a small decline from January imports but up 26 percent from year-ago levels. September 2007 through February 2008 cotton imports increased 29 percent from the previous year to 1.1 million tons.
