Apparel Costing

According to the data from General Administration of Customs, exports of textile and apparel in February were valuaed at around 10.288 billion U.S. dollar, down 32.91% from last month, and down 8.5% compared with the same period last year. Among them, yarn fabric and products were 3.794 billion U.S. dollar, clothes and apparel attachment was 6.494 billion U.S. dollar.

In first six month of 2007/08 season(2007.09-2008.02), cumulative export of fabrics clothes were about 87.82 billion U.S. dollar, increase by 15.57% year-on-year. Among them yarn, fabric and products increased by 17.68% to 29.413 billion U.S. dollar, clothes and apparel attachment increased by 14.54% to 58.407 billion U.S. dollar compared with the same period of last season.
