Introduction: |
The main content of this program is fabric development, sourcing or merchandising of fabrics. Program content will be segmented to cover knits and wovens Instruction related to each fabric type will be scheduled for a period of 2 1/2 days so you can select either Weaving Fundamentals or Knitting Fundamentals or both. The mechanics of knitting and weaving will be reviewed, followed by detailed information on selecting fibers, yarns, and fabric types for developing specific products. Fabric designs and associated fabric properties will also be discussed. |
