Introduction: |
From 2007 on, the Aachen-Dresden International Textile Conference takes place in odd years in Aachen and in even years in Dresden. The first joint conference takes place in Dresden on 4th and 5th of December 2008. The two technical universities in Aachen and Dresden are the East-West backbone of textile research in Germany. Both, the Aachen and the Dresden area have a strong tradition in textile chemistry and textile engineering, regarding industry as well as research. Conference will focus on Materials and technologies for the textile machinery, Functionalization of materials and product development, Textile chemistry, Development and processing of innovative textile structures, including ?bers, yarns, and nonwovens, Development of new technologies and machinery & Technical sessions on associations of (nano)particles, ?ber and laminar composites, blends, including laminates, foams, space constructions, with all relevant applications. |
